after waiting for almost a year, point of view is

after waiting for almost a year, point of view is finally out in the world!!

when i finally decided on making ‘inventions’ the overall theme for my first history EP, i knew in an instant that photography had to be the second invention. i personally loooove taking pictures and im so grateful that i live in a day and age where taking a picture doesnt take me 8 hours… lol

at first i was a bit unsure with how i wanted to write this song and do Niépce’s story justice. in the end, i decided to write it from his perspective in the form of a letter to his brother, since he confided in his brother a lot while working on his invention, and i thought the exchanges between them were really cute

im very proud of this song and this one is extra special, since i invited my friends and family on the track, truly encapturing the tracks theme of making memories last forever :)

so if you’re as terrible at drawing as me and Niépce, love taking photos, or just love making memories last with your favourite people, you can now listen to point of view on every streaming platform ♡
