the next stop with the timemachine!! ‘paper trails’ is out nowww!! ‧₊˚📜₊˚⊹🕯️𖥔 ݁ ˖

with this journey/song we arrive at a few destinations actually! first we stop at 105 CE where Cai Lun invents paper at the court of Han. then we move to 751 where paper is handed to the Arabs in the Middle East, to end in Europe where paper starts to be used for newspapers and in the printing press. almost two centuries of humanity and paper existing together and needing eachother.

then of course the digital world starts to emerge and paper gets left behind more and more, while still holding on to the hope that humanity will once return.

its an epic but heartbreaking journey and i hope we translated that through the song :)

insane to think that 2025 was the year i launched

insane to think that 2025 was the year i launched my own timemachine!!! what an inspirational journey it has been so far, thank you for coming along for the ride!

i’m so thankful for all the opportunities i’ve gotten, from playing live to all the writing camps i got to attend, finishing my EP, a publishing deal with @copyrightpowerinternational, and most importantly, all the new people i’ve met on this journey (from the present *and* the past!)

i can’t wait to find out what 2026 has in store annndd i can already say that i have a lot of cool stuff coming, such as the release of my first ever historypop-EP!!

exactly 111 years ago the opposing troops during the first world war enforced an unofficial truce and celebrated Christmas in the middle of no mans land, singing christmas carols, playing games, and socialising with eachother. i wrote a little history demo about it!
