‘do it Wright’ is finally out and i could not

‘do it Wright’ is finally out and i could not be more proud of this song! ✈️

i came up with the idea of writing a song about the Wright brothers actually through my own obsession with airplanes and flying; i actually even wanted to become a pilot (or astronaut) a few years back. and as the historian i am i started a deepdive into the history of flying and that’s how i found out about the inspiring story of the Wright brothers and their desire to fly

i started writing the demo on the 11th of august (very late at night lol) and a few days later i sat with @remycoopermusic to make the first demo with an actual production. i am always inspired by the synths and sounds of music from the 80’s, so that was kind of the vibe we were going for. i also hope we have captured the feeling of finally taking flight within the song, because to me that feeling is indescribable and i can only imagine what it must have felt like for Wilbur and Orville to finally take flight after years of trial and error

‘do it Wright’ is about perseverance, pushing through, even when everyone tells you you’re crazy and doubting your success. something i myself am doing too with my own music. but the song is also of course about the story of these two brothers who made it their life’s mission to finally be able to fly

i hope you guys love the song and the story as much as i do ♡
